missing my friends...

College was one of the best times in my life. I have the best memories, and I definitely met the BEST friends. Now we are all scattered across these great states, and well I'm blessed to have a few still close by...there are many I wish lived closer.

What would life be like if we all still lived together :)

Hmmm. I feel like I just posted something similar- within the last few weeks- about missing my friends and college life in general. Good time, good times...

At times, I find it annoying to be an "adult." The day-to-day of work, house chores, professional development, paying bills and carving out meaningful time with friends and family. Even though the architecture studio sucked up A LOT of my time in college, I loved that period in my life just the same. I miss seeing everyone in the studio, in class, in-and-around campus, etc. Perhaps I'm a bit more reflective on that chapter now... years later.

I'm grateful that we have cell phones, email, Facebook, photo albums and so forth... but I miss the actual TIME spent with dear friends. Why is it so difficult to organize a dinner party, lunch date, etc.?!?! College life seemed simpler, eh?

On that note.... let's get together, yo! hint hint.

miss you too, sweet lady. I think about this too - that's what happens when you meet great people and friends:)

I was just thinking about you... Then I saw this. It both made my day and made me sad.
Love and miss you.
